Bond Authorization Election

Dear Fort Bend MUD 41/Village of Oak Lake Residents:

As many of you may already know, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 41 (the “District”) has called for a $20.2 million bond authorization election and a maintenance tax substitution election on November 2, 2021.

To ensure the residents of the District have accurate information regarding the proposed bond authorization, the proposed maintenance tax substitution, and the Board’s goals for the District, we have put together answers for residents’ common questions. A BOND ELECTION FAQ was created and posted on fbmud41.com under the election tab. These answers and other vital information will be discussed at the District’s OPEN HOUSE event.

The Open House will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at OAK LAKE BAPIST CHURCH, 15555 WEST AIRPORT BLVD. There will be refreshments and several informational booths set up to enhance your knowledge of all aspects of the upcoming BOND ELECTION.

Today you will receive a postcard in the mail from the Fort Bend MUD 41 Directors.

We have extended the OPEN HOUSE hours to 9:00 p.m. for those who are unable to make the cut off time of 8:00 p.m. There will be a board member available from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to answer any questions as well as hand out bond election information.

Please log onto the District website, fbmud41.com, and click on the election tab to review the BOND ELECTION FAQs.
