Message from the Board – November 2021

The monthly HOA board meeting was held on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.  All Board members, except Siraj Parmer, were in attendance, along with Troy Lively and Kathryn Crow of Spectrum. We had one homeowner, Schuyler White, attend the meeting as well.

On Saturday, November 13th, we will have our annual family Movie Night at 6:00 p.m. at the tennis courts.  We will serve hot dogs, chili, chips and all the fixings, along with water and dessert.  We will show the movie Finding Nemo.  This movie is rated G for all audiences.  Please join us for a fun night of food and fellowship for kids and adults as well.

We hope you have all had the opportunity to log onto Spectrum’s website and become familiar with it.  You should have received a post card in the mail with the website address and your account information.  If you have not logged on at, we encourage you to do so.  In the next couple of months, we will be transitioning from our current website host, OffCinco, to SpectrumAM for website services.  This is a service they offer at no extra cost to the HOA and we are going to take advantage of it.  We will retire on December 31, 2021.

The Board approved the 2022 budget during the October meeting, however, we found out later that records were missing in the information forwarded from Sterling. The missing information has since been taken into account, and we will be re-approving the 2022 Budget on November 3rd at 6:30 p.m.  If you have any questions regarding the budget, you are welcome to attend this Zoom meeting.

Our neighborhood holiday lights and decorations will be installed the second week of November and the new color installation should be taking place around the same time.  We have several landscaping issues that are currently being discussed – brown patch, ants, missing shrubs, tree removals, and are working with LMC to get these items on the schedule.  We are also working to get the missing tennis court screens replaced.

As we approach the end of the year, you will be receiving your Annual Assessment letter in the mail in the next few weeks.  Please remember, assessments are mandatory and are due on January 1st of each year and considered late on January 31st.  If you cannot pay your assessments on time, please log onto, click on How to Get a Payment Plan, and fill out and submit the information.  If you fail to pay your assessment on time and do not request a payment plan, your account will be charged late fees.

The Board wishes all our residents a Happy Thanksgiving – there is always something to be thankful for.
